I was shocked to hear that in your country you wasn't advisable to celebrate your birthday. It would be very sad for me. By the way which country are you from? Does your wife live in same country as you just that she has different culture or she is from other place? Thanks for responding and happy mylotting!!!

I leave in Kuwait for I am a Muslim Kuwaiti and my wife is a Filipino in nationality and we have a different culture as well for that I've see her sincerity and effort about it although it is not a part of me I still have to wear a smile and be happy for my wife make a lot of effort just to make me happy....

I dont even come close on family birthdays. We generally will say hello or call around birthdays but usually I am so busy I miss the actual day. I dont think its a big deal with any of us.

I don't mind if my friends forgot about my birthday. To me, my birthday is just like any other day. I didn't tell anyone when my birthday is and no one bother to ask me either.

Yes I do. And if they don't I would conplain about that. But i never get mad about that because I understand they are all very busy and so as I myself.
So ,it's the best that they could remember, but if not, it's not serious problems.
Have a good day!

I do expect my friends to remember my birthday. I don't expect for gifts but I will expect for surprises. Hope surprises can be made without gifts also. Lol. I think I will not expect anymore. Because I don't have much friends now. And from my family, I never expected. I will just call up my parents and will get their blessings. I don't mind even if they forget. I know that they do love me. I don't want them to express in these ways. But I will happy if they do. Haha. Lol.

Erm... I don't think surprise can be done without gift or spending some money. Surprise done during birthday would be something like organize a party for you?? buy you a cake?? or pretending to forget your birthday then give you a wonderful present its depends. Ya i do agree with you, I don't expected much from them too but i would be happy if they get me something as present hehe..Wish you a nice day ahead and maybe you can get to know alot friends from mylot. Happy mylotting and thanks for the response.

I don't get too upset if my friends forget my birthday, but I'm happy if they remember. I feel bad if I forget their birthdays though.
I am really bad at remembering birthdays and anniversaries. Good thing my girlfriend doesn't care about that type of thing much either.
