I have a 80gb ipod and in that loved gadget I have movies (for me and my daughter), music (more than three thousands songs), all my pictures (yes, is a risk if my ipod crash) and I have installed a suite of portable software with I can get with me my office without my laptop
Any other recommended use for the ipod?
Regards

Well, first and foremost you should use it for its intended purpose which is to play music and videos. I see that you've already done that. You can use it as a temporary external hard drive to back up your computer or put a copy of an important file on. My Macbook is being re-imaged and I have most of it backed up on my 30gb iPod Video 5th generation. You can listen to podcasts as well, but I don't find those very interesting but they are free. You can buy audio books from iTunes or other places but I prefer to read the actually book than to listen. You can also play some games on it but the selection is limited and most are $4.99. I hope my post helped! And enjoy your iPod!

I use my ipod for music, pictures and videos. You can also use your ipod for games which are downloadable from iTunes for a price. I sometimes use my ipod as a temporary storage just like an external hard drive. You can also use your ipod to read e-books I'm just not sure how to yet.
