Do you get what you expect and deserve what you tolerate?

This is a quote from a newsletter concerning improving quality of service:
"You get what you expect and you deserve what you tolerate."
To me, this sounds like it comes from a scam artist. Totally wrong, misleading, and sounds like someone is trying to get everything for nothing.
IMHO, the quote SHOULD say:
"You get what you tolerate and you deserve what you expect."
For proof, think of the gasoline prices this past summer.
With the first quote, we got what we expected (did anyone expect $4.00/gal??) and deserved what we tolerated. Sorry, but I'm offended by that last part. I don't believe we deserved it, and we barely tolerated it. We paid, but did alot of complaining about it.
With the second quote, the situation and quote comes closer together. Again, we paid the price (tolerated it) just barely, but complained loudly and long. I think some politicians will pay the price this November. And we definately deserved what we expected (more reasonable prices).
So, what do you think?
