Driving home from dropping my kids off at school today got me thinking. I can't remember a presidential campaign where a nominee went toe-to-toe with a VP candidate. Why wouldn't he go for the other candidate? Then it hit me. Obama is really afraid of Palin! Why else would he be focusing on her? McCain obviously made the right decision in picking Palin as his running mate. The democrats are now running scared. Even the press has been miffed by her, and they deserve it. Our media is no longer a reporting mechanism. It is a platform for their social and political agenda. You want unbiased reporting? Then tune into BBC America.
So, why the fear from all sides except the republican? Because she hasn't been in the limelight. She talks straightforward and it scares them. No sugar coating, no empty pipe dreams, just straight talk. Politicians are not typically like this. They spew what is popular, not what is right. The democrats in our day and time are no different than the communists of the 50's. Government does everything for you. Have you noticed we no longer have free speech? Think I'm wrong? Just try saying the "N" word, or some other racial slang and see what happens. The constitution doesn't say "freedom of speech unless it offends someone". It say "freedom of speech", period! If you want to stay a free country and not become communist then you better get a republican in the white house. If the government has to regulate and monitor everything you do to keep you safe from yourself, then it has become too powerful and is heading for a dictatorship whether you like it or not!

It is interesting that they're all centering in on Palin instead of McCain - but it also taking a lot of the heat off of Obama/Biden because everyone is more interested in her.
I agree that they are fearful of her as she has faced the good-ol-boy club before and won. She is not the career politician that has been in Washington all her life and they don't know what to expect.
Obama wants the government to be in our faces more than it already is - we don't need more government involvement in our lives! Obama wants power - more power than what the Presidency provides - but does not have the knowledge or experience to use it effectively or safely.
