How long has it been.......

For me I've been trying to get a job since I turned 16, and now I'm 18 and I've just about given up. Why not live off of the financial aid of college, parents, and spending all your time posting on MyLot to make some extra spending money? But yeah, I really can't get a job and it's terrible. I've had to change my major to accounting because the economy is really bad, maybe there will be an economic job ready for me and if that's not possible, maybe I can join a volunteer program or something that I work for free for a few months and then they hire me, something like that. But for now I'm not too worried about getting a job because I'm still in college, but at the end of my four year college and I'm still not able to get a job, I'm going to do some serious panicking. However, I've devised a plan on how to survive if I can't find a job. Lol, and what I'm going to do is shower at my local sports club, live in my car, and work on the laptop in a local library or school library. Dang, what a good way of living, and yes top ramen every night 3 times a day, 3 days a week forever. (It's hot to live afterall).

As a matter of fact, I have been unemployed since January of this year. I was at my wits end until I got a job 3 days ago. I just started last night. It's with a reputable company and I am finally at ease. I don't like the work but I am so desperate right now, that I am willing to stick it out. Good luck on your job search hon. Well, I have been very lucky as I have had the same job now for almost 3 yrs. It is becoming harder and harder to find a Good job anywhere now with the Economic depression that I would hate to have to be out there looking again. I know even in the times I complain about my job, it is a job, and I am Happy to have one. I hope by now you have found something and am Happy again. In these days having something is definately better for sure.
