here in the philippines, even though we are a third world country, there are still pizza restaurants that sells expensive pizza. some of the pizza has a price soaring up to $6 (that's almost 300 posts in mylot). ahehehehehe... but if you really look at expensive pizza, the raw materials and flour and seasoning, if you are going to add all in all, it would not really reach that price... do you think eating pizza even in special occasions is worthy?

I find it a little difficult to order a pizza considering that I can make it at home at about 1/4th the price or even less. This is one video recipe that I like and yes, you can be sure that your final result is going to be yumm...

I'd still buy pizza because I love them especially if I'm craving for it.
Actually, that's the same reason why a lot of people tried to come up with their own pizza recipes/business. It's mainly because of the high price and so that other people can afford it. However, I haven't seen/tasted any local pizza that stood to the level of the giants. It's probably because of the cheese and toppings. Most of them use mozzarella cheese while the others don't.
Somehow, I think Pizza hut and Shakeys realized that their sales will go down if they don't come up with a new scheme. Thus, the birth of the palm card hehehe

Do you mean $6.00 U.S. dollars? Because if so that is nothing. Many of the pizza restaurants cost us about $20 or $30.00 bucks for 2 pizza's now! I love Papa Johns but they have gotten so expensive. I use to be able to get 2 pizzas for about $20 and now it is about $30 to get them and the pizzas don't even last as long as they used to!
We just recently got a little ceasars that has a large pizza for $5.00, you can either get pepporoni or sausage on it. They also have a good deal going on for 2 large pizzas with one topping, 2 liter soda, and crazy bread with sauce for about $14.00. We have been going there and getting that deal lately. Ever since they opened we have not ordered pizza from anyone else because they are so cheap. EVERYONE has been talking about little ceasars here ever since they opened up. There pizza's are pretty good also. My cousin goes there all the time and just gets a large pizza for $5! I just hope they never go up in their prices.

All pizza restaurants (Pizza Hut, Dominos, Yellow Cab) sell expensive pizzas. It's not really worth it so you can't have it every day. But we have a box from time to time. The cheaper ones that are sold in carts or kiosks are cheap but not that good. You can really tell the difference. Mozzarella cheese is also expensive so I guess pizza restaurants have no choice but to price their pizzas that way.

Hey, it's not worth it. I mean the restaurant pizza. You see, i get to eat pizza almost everyday now. It's homemade, healthy, and tastes just like the pizza they sell in restaurants. All the women in my husband's family know how to make pizza, and the dough is superb. SOmetimes they just make plain pizza (mozarella, tomatoe paste/sauce, thyme, other herbs) and so i just add any kind of meat that i like. If you really want pizza that bad, it's not really difficult to learn how to make one. I think here we could make a superb pizza with just 5 dollars worth of ingredients. ANd it will satisfy about 20 people. Yes, it's true. :)
