Just wondering how you people discipline your dogs? I have seen some people who will do something like give them a tap on the nose and a stern voice, or just yell, or actually smack on their rear end, or even rub their nose in the spot where they've wee'd on the floor when they're trying to teach them to be house-trained. And of coarse I've seen the more positive methods as well, so I'm just wondering how you people do it????

My harshest punishment... I use a squirt bottle (water) and spray them if they get totally out of hand. Most of the time I just have to say "do you want sprayed?" and they all settle down.
As for rubbing the nose in the spot where they've peed- not a good training method at all. The only thing that does is give you a dog with a stinky face. If you catch them in the act, give a firm NO, and take them outside. If you did not catch them in the act, clean it up and pay closer attention next time.

I have a yorkie and I used to discioline him with a quirt bottle of water. I also use the stern voice when he is jumping on and off the bed or when he is trying to bother my daughter while she is playing. Im not for hitting them because I feel they don't understand that. Also Im afraid it might make them aggressive.
