Inside or Out?

Just wondering how many people out there allow their dogs to come inside the house. When I was a child my mother used to let our dog come in and out as she pleased, and even slept on our beds, but now that I am an adult I think I prefer the dog to be mostly outdoors, but come in sometimes - it helps keep the house cleaner.

My personal feelings- if you're going to leave the dog outside, there's no point in even having the dog. If you're worried about having a perfectly clean house all the time, don't get a dog.

Working as a tech at an animal hospital in Phoenix, I see dogs die all the time of heat stroke. Doesn't take long...

Hi there Ph419always! We used to have lots of dogs and they stay inside our house. There's Rambo, Speedy, Boomer, Nik-nik, Sandy, Whitney and Tyson. I miss them all. We currently don't have any dog in our residence but two, Brownie and Greg in my uncle's beach resort.

we do allow our dog to come inside !!! but he prefers to stay outside & run around !!! :-)
