Why do people have such a problem with smoking....

And yet noone seems to care much about junk food, pollution, the environment, or the chemicals they smother themselves with everyday. Seriously, in my local paper some college kid wrote an article about smokers 'damaging his health' because he didn't see why he should have to walk away from their smoke, and this kid must have weighed about 17stone. I mean, christ, if you don't like the smell of ciggarettes and you just don't want people to do it because YOU don't like it,just say so, but please, don't pretend you care about you're health when you eat crap and drive to the corner shop...
