Can one comment ruin your day?

Don't let what other people say ruin your day. When you look at the big picture it's just a person typing down their feelings in a 1% existence of your life. Who cares if they disagree with you or say something mean or whatever. At the end of the day you close your computer down and move on with your life. It's not like they are a determining factor of who you are. People are not always going to agree with you and they're not always going to say nice things. Brush it off and move on. Happy myLotting.

I would not let a nasty comment from someone on mylot who I have never met and most likey never will ruin my day. Now if it was somone I knew and they had said something to my face then it might ruin part of my day but I am one who tries to not let things bother me. Keep on mylotting and have a great day.

Well yes I do tend to dwell on it, I guess I am pretty sensitive in that respect and I do tend to take things to heart, I try not to and you have to develop broad shoulders and be able to shrug it off, people can be nasty and rude and leave a comment which you can take the wrong way or an upsetting comment, it's like hey, I've done nothing to you, so why leave me that awful comment? But fortunately they are in the minority on Mylot and most of the time you get positive feedback and heartening comments, so the negative ones can be just forgotten, they are not worth knowing anyhow and if they are the kind of people who leave nasty comments, they are nasty people themselves!

I don't think I ever got a rude comment on here yet. But I would not let it ruin my day. If it is one or many. I would still go on with my day and keep on mylotting.

Sometimes, one comment can ruin my day. I just understand why someone comment you so bad and ruin your mood. But i try myself to be cool and not affected to it. And until oneday i learned to ignore those comments and never be affected. Now im ok, i always thinking that those are comments from people who never know me.

Yes, because no matter how hard I try, I'll keep running it through my mind all day long. It's really hard for me to let things go. On the other hand, if I get a really nice compliment, I can live off of it for the whole day.

I might feel bad or upset about it for some breathing moments but I do not let it ruin my day. I have known that some people may not agree with my comment and could express themselves without being nasty while others could NOT. There's no need to leave a nasty remark when we are trying to etablish good communcation with fellow myLotters here. I'd like to see some sort of justice when somebody leaves a nasty remark like being restricted for a period of time or demotion. They should take the consequences for their own action. I try to brush aside the nasty comment and move on.
