who is your best friend???

Is it necessary for you to have a best friend which is the same age like you, same gender and lots of common things that you share??

pitstryke,welcome to mylot.Well I know that it is necessary for all of us t have a best friend that we share things in common with and can share things with, go out spend time with. It has to be someone we can truse, depend on, a person we can call on in our good times and our bad times.But I do not think that they have to be our age,or gender, they can be any age or gender.My best friend is my age and gender, but some perple find thereselves more comfortable with a person of teir own gender.

I have had a lot of people who have claimed to be my best friend and weren't even though I'm a girl and I mean a girly girl I have always had guy friends. I feel more comfortable speaking to guys then girls the bad thing is in todays society if a girl has nothing but guy friends she must be doing something thats not always the case. My fiance is my best friend now which is kind of hard to be. The only person I confide in 100% is him. Hes 10 years older then me so he helps a lot but age has nothing to do with it because even though he is older I still answer more of his questions then he does mine. I guess a true friend is hard to find but when you do latch on and hold on tight.

It's really good that your fiance is your best friend. It means you got nothing to hide to your fiance since he is your best friend. Best wishes to your relationship!!!

Swapnil is my best friend.Actually he is not my best friend but he is just friend.My sister is my real best friend.She is the one whom I love most.

my bestfriend is my daughter. i dont need to look for one. shes enough for me. we dont hide secrets. we know each other very well.

I can sense that you are a very loving mother. It really sounds good to have your daughter as your best friend. Closeness of parents and children is very important and I seldom see that nowadays.

my best friend has to be a few people. lol. two girls and my bf
i can tell the girls anything, but i dont normally tell my bf the same things, vise versa
theres a few things you can tell best friends and your boyfriend lol
well me and my boyfriend have different interests which make a good conversation, but with my friends we have are alike

To an extent i would say "Yes".This is because many a times we have problems in life which can be understood only by people of the same age.But sometimes,the reverse is possible.We are prone to problems in life,which can only be understood by experienced people.At that point one can agree to the fact that age and gender doesnt matter in having a best friend.
