Hi musicandme! I think the main difference between the two Holy Scriptures is that the Holy Bible tells the Christians that Jesus Christ, the son of God redeems the world for all the sins men have had done. On the other hand, the Holy Qur'an revered Mohammad as the greatest messenger and prophet spreading moral truth and God's light. I believe that both Holy Scriptures teach us all to be truly humans following the words of our Creator. If we are just going to follow whole-heartedly what is written in these Holy Books, then peace, love and harmony will reign all over the world. There will be no more wars and hatred amongst peoples.

The difference between the Holy Bible & the Holy Quran, is that the Bible is the only book that is correct. The Bible was written by God, through His disciples (men) (Paul, Solomon, John, etc.).

If the Holy Bible is correct, why there is an OLD TESTAMENT and a NEW TESTAMENT?

None, each side says the other is a liar.

Hello musicandme! The Bible is a collection of writings by many different authors. The Quran is a dictation. The speaker in the Quran - in the first person - is God talking directly to man. In the Bible you have many men writing about God and you have in some places the word of God speaking to men and still in other places you have some men simply writing about history. The Bible consists of 66 small books. About 18 of them begin by saying: This is the revelation God gave to so and so… The rest make no claim as to their origin. You have for example the beginning of the book of Jonah which begins by saying: The word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Elmitaeh saying… quote and then it continues for two or three pages. If you compare that to one of the four accounts of the life of Jesus, Luke begins by saying: "many people have written about this man, it seems fitting for me to do so too". That is all… no claim of saying " these words were given to me by God here they are for you it is a revelation", there is no mention of this. This Link contains the the Muslim comment on the Issue by Dr. Gary Miller "The Difference between the Bible and the Quran" http://www.usislam.org/comparative/diffquranbible.htm Best Regards.

I have read very little of the Quran so far, but what I have seen so far, is that we basically have and belive in the same God, no matter what language you use for His Name. I think that the Muslims still belive in the older ways and that Muhammad was their prophet ( for their time ). It ( the Quran ) does see Mary, Jesus' mother as being a very respected and Holy woman, and they do also mention that Jesus is her son, however, they still choose to serve Muhammad, rather than belive that Jesus is the Messiah. I belive that we have to go through Jesus, he was sent here for us, but I won't completly discount anyone else who tries to serve Our God in any way. So, I guess my fairly uneducated guess would be that we belive in different people but the same God.

Fundamentalcharlie, since Jesus is God, what Jesus is saying doesn't make any sense. You don't have to go to Jesus to reach God, meeting Jesus is reaching God. If that is untrue, then Jesus cannot be God.

Hi musicandme There are many and many differences between the holy quran and bible The first one is that the holy quran confirrm there is one god but the bible no, and of course the quran is the truth:If I ask you, all prophets before jesus believe in whoom, you will say in one god, so how jesus was a god!!!!!!!! Hear to me please:as god created adam from no male nor female, create hawa(wife of adam)from male only and create all people from a male and a female, he created jesus from a female only and that proove that god can do averything;and the birth of jesus and his capacities to do abnormal things are miracles that god give to him as a prophet, and you know that all prophets had miracles. I can also cite the scientific miracles in quran compatibles with the recent researches discovered in our days, however, bible is against sciences and that's why in the begining of discovering sciences, churchesorder to kill all sciences and researchers who give scientific procedures against bible and when they was defeated they decide to seperate religion and sciences and also politic, but the quran contains all what we need in our life and encourage sciences. You know also that the quran is the same in all the world but the bible no(it's alterd)......... You can find many other differences..... Finally, I would like to give you some important links:Hier you can listen to quran with arabic language http://quranicaudio.com/quran/50 Hier you can listen to quran with arabic language translated in english verse per verse http://quranicaudio.com/quran/57 Hier you find the Quran miracles encyclopedia, plzase read carrefully http://www.55a.net/I hope you find what you look for
