Hello all, after what seems like many months, probably more like many weeks, I finally have gotten a job. I interviewed with quite a few different companies and finally settling with a good one. It is funny as my friend asked me if it was the one I wanted and I responded to her as yes and no. This position I am taking has a base salary and commissions, the other position I wanted was just a straight salary so it is hard to say which would have been better. I like the idea of being able to create my own destiny but I want to succeed, I know that I can so it should be okay but basically I need to make it happen and with a sales position I know that it can happen that way. I potentially have the chance to make a very good living for me and my family and that is what I want most of all, it will cause some sacrafice but it should be a fair amount. With that as long as I am making a fairly good living my husband would have more freedome to do what he wants to do and still be able to help with the gaps when it comes to the child care stuff. That is also quite difficult but with me working now it should be a no brainer.
Anyway thanks for all your great advice and listening to me. I have called other people so far to let them know that I have taken a position now, I enjoyed talking with many companies and although I had to turn down quite a few I am really excited to be starting my career at this new position I feel it will be a permanent job for a nice long time and I am excited for that.
Cheers

so far things are great, but I am still the only one working it is really hard. since I am not yet out of training I am not able to sell anything for extra commission, I am hopeful that I will get to do so very soon...I know that I will, I still have like 2 weeks of training though..
