Brown Banded - Bullet - Dragon (Goby)

Hey can anyone tell me there personal experience of keeping a brown banded, bullet, dragon - Goby it has many names, in a reef aquarium. I was told they are not agressive however it has attacked a fish we had in the tank and likes to chase everything around. I was curious if this is normal. Added note: he was the 1st fish in the tank.
