What age you learned reading?

i learnt to read when i was 4 yrs old....ooooh...what a challenge it was....i had problems in correct pronunciation...had problems in oral tests in my class...

Oh my that was along time ago and I don't remember when I learned how to read. Maybe 4 or 5 too. I was already enrolled in elementary when I was 5, so I guess even before that I already knew how to read. I am a very curious kid when I was little, I always ask why so I guess I also learned reading earlier.

I really can't remember but basically in child's milestone it is typically between the ages 4-5 years of age depending on your IQ..

I know I was reading in kindergarten, so I was probably 4. I was a good reader, I would come home with huge stacks of picture books from the library and read them all in one day.

I started reading on my own at 5, although before that my mother reads to me. Well, the problem was that I read very very slowly and I took minutes to read one word. I also could not understand some of the words.
