Yesterday I had to take my little girl to get her 12 month shots. I had to hold her in my lap while the nurse did it. She cried like most babies do. It upset me to see her in pain. I did not cry, but I do know some mothers do cry. How does it affect you when your baby gets his or her shots?

its expensive but its the best we mothers can do to protect our children from getting sick. its a requirement for me to have our babys given booster for their protection. most specially nowadays that we have a lot of virus because of pollutions.

Babies are look. so awful when they having thier vaccines. I remember my son when he had those shots of vaccines. He was crying and crying. But after a few minutes he is fine. The doctor said that it's ok for them because babies didn't anticipate pain compare to adult. After the shots my son back to smiling again. But my heart feels aching watching him crying. But it's thier for own good and safety for health benefit.

When my first baby was born and I had to take her to get her first shots, I cried longer than she did. It hurt mom much more than her. Now, that I have 4 children, it is more routine. I do not get near as upset about it as I did with my daughter. My last baby was born 2 1/2 months premature and has had surgeries, hospital stays, and had an IV line put into the veins going straight into his heart when he was 3 days old. The shots seems so minor compared to everything else that a baby can have to deal with and overcome. But, I totally agree that it is very upsetting and hurts the moms.
