I would wear something casual to feel comfortable. I would not wear a suit as I have done once. :) An ideal place to go on a first date is a restaurant since if conversation lacks there is always a piece of food to grab into your mouth.

Hi Kocharvimal! Nice topic, you have in here. My first date was a dinner with my former boyfriend in college and I was too hungry to change after class (nothing fancy, I wore girly cotton top and denim bottom with books in tow! LOL) so we went straight to a barbecue diner just near the college campus and ate grilled chicken and salad for dinner. We had fun eating together, then. :)

on a first date, i will definitely wear something decent and impressive. first look should be great in his eyes right. a place can be anywhere as long as we are both comfortable and having a great time. no requirement at all. it may not be an expensive place but the memories in it will be cherished.

Wow, I don't even remember who my first date was with! I wasn't really all that active in high school although I went to the junior prom with someone.
My first date with my husband 25 years ago actually didn't happen because I decided not to meet him at the county fair that he asked me to go to. I didn't want to drive with him because I didn't know him well enough. I was only 18 and he was 26 so I was nervous.
We finally did go on a date to an even bigger state fair and I wore casual jeans and a casual top. He won me a huge nearly 6 foot bear that he had to carry on his back throughout the whole fair. We still have that bear in our bedroom!
If I ever had another first date, I would probably be less casual and more dressy even if it was a casual date. I like to dress up a little now. When I was young, I never did.
