Why are some people born into more suffering than others? In the end, what is the bonus for those who lived through suffering? If they failed and go to hell, there will be people in hell who at least had a good life. And if they go to heaven there will be people there who got heaven + a great life, while they only got heaven and a terrible life to remember. What about the people that go crazy? Why do some people get special treatment and still end up in heaven while others get a bad life and end up in hell, how is anything fair in a world like that? It seems to me the only way this can be fair is if we get reincarnated, everyone gets an equal chance at life.

According to the Baha'i Faith (of which I am a member), every trial we face is an opportunity for spiritual growth. Facing and overcoming challenges is what allows us to learn and develop spiritual qualities in this world. Those who experience more trials may not have as nice a life but they have more opportunities for spiritual growth, so in a way they are blessed. Difficulties are given to us as we are able to handle them. I do not believe anyone gets special treatment, that is why there is no clergy in the Baha'i Faith. Some experience more difficulties because they are more able to handle them. In the next world the spiritual qualities we have developed can be employed for further growth. We do not believe in heaven and hell as distinct places. Rather there is only one world where all go and continue to develop then they more on to the next world and the next world. As we progress through each world we develop more spritually and grow closer to God. Mental illness, cancer, war, and all other bad things are necessary in order for us to learn. If everything was good and perfect for everyone how could we progress? What would be the point?

This world is the first world so that is why we do not remember previous lives. In the next world we will remember our life here. Baha'is do not believe that the goal is the point, it is the journey that is important. Whether or not we ever reach God is unimportant. As we progress through each world and develop spiritually we begin to understand more and more. The point is to obtain enlightment. The point is not to reach God. If we reached God then what would we do, just sit there? As amazing as that would be after awhile life would become kind of meaningless if there was no more to do. God has blessed us with infinite worlds so that we always have a purpose and are always able to progress and learn more.

I am sorry that you feel that way. These are my beliefs, none of us will know for sure until we get there. I do not see God as controlling however. I believe it is up to us to strive to obtain spiritual qualities (such as kindness, generosity, etc.) and if someone did not make an effort to obtain those qualities in this life I do not think it is unfair for them to start at a lower point in the next world, but that is my opinion. God does not force spiritual qualities on anyone they must be earned and as we strive to conquer the difficulties in our lives we earn reward. I think it would be unfair for everyone to recieve the same despite the fact that some people are cruel and greedy and others kind and generous, but that is my opinion and you are entitled to your own of course. I also believe that everyone is given the same potential but that others do not attempt to tap into that potential, they are not willing to make the effort and thus are unable to handle the same amount of difficulties. It is all a choice that we make though, it is not something that God controls in my view. We are free to obtain spiritual qualities as we desire them but we have to make the effort. Ultimately, the control is in our hands.

I don't see where in the universe you find hints that make you believe that, but if this world is the first then the question then would be why don't we start with at least similar potential. Its not fair now or ever (in any other world thereafter) that some people got to learn more than others here, then they have a head start in the next life. So I don't really think any incarnation scenairo is really "fair", but as long as there is a being on top controlling it it's no longer not just fair, its evil.

This is my belief: take it or leave it, but please try to understand. God, I believe, has no beginning and no end. In Math terms he is a line, which stretches infinitely each way. Humans had a beginning and I believe dont have an end. We were created by God, and our patterns of thinking also created by God. We find it hard to believe that God had no beginning, but our pattern of thinking is different, since we are not of the same nature as God. I believe that God has a Plan, that sounds very cliche, and the "christian" thing to say, but I do. I believe the plan's outcome will be Great, the Greatest thing ever, but the events the "pices of the puzzle", are very weird and seem like they arent fair and seem ridiculous. But again, I believe its this way because we dont have the true understanding. God's plan also included Satan, who is to blame for the wrong of this world. Its Satan's job to draw as many people away as he can, and he does a good job of it. Satan used to be a head angel, until He wanted more power then God, and thats when God created Hell. Everything is not for us to understand, but for us to have faith that God will pull us through the tough times, the times where his "puzzle pieces" seem so ridiculous.

And another addition, as we live our lives for ourselves, I believe its on the selfish side, for God created everything including us, so even if times are bad, we dont deserve anything good, for we were the created not the Creator. This is what I believe Im not forcing it to say its the Truth, but I do believe it is. I do hope you find happiness and I will pray for you that you do.

I don't think there would be room for anything else if one thing stretched to infinity in either/all directions. And if humans had a beginning but no end it would be paradoxical because it would be infinity, but still less than another value which means it cant be infinite after all. Yeah I think your belief is very cliche.

I believe that God exists. But I do not believe that God created the world and universe. I am not much concerned about supernatural Gods. The real Gods exists among ourselves. First and the foremosts are my parents. Then teachers and good people on earth. If God created the world and universe, he is responsible for all the evil things happen in the world. But I do believe in such circumstnaces. Creation of God is highly religious. We must respect the religious faith. At the same time we have right to explore and deny the things that we cannot admit. Why there are bad stuff in the world could be explained using the law of Kamma according to Buddhism. You may refer the following link in my site to get an idea about that; http://www.shamika.50g.com/articles/01_kamma.html

I beleieve in a superior someone. Although the evil that exists in the world. Well since we got "free" will, we are supposed to do what we want to choose to do, either good or bad. And since there are a lot of bad influece in this world, ironically created by humans ourself, there is always going to be some eivl out there. So what we do is just stand and defend our thoughts, thinking before acting and obviously thinking rightly.

Of course i believe in god as we should all do. He created everything in six days then established himself on his throne. The only reason there is bad things is because humans have been doig them. We all have the free will to do what we want and if we do a bad thing we can blame no one else but ourselves. So if there is bad stuff in the world it is because we the humans have been doing them ourselves. I hope this helps to answer your question.

Why not blame it on God then? If he created humans, you can't blame the creation for how it was created.

I absolutely believe in god..Not because he's the god,but for being the mighty one who has created the heaven and earth and everything..he gives us everything in life,But sometimes we cant avoid the up's and down of it,But this is how life work, you must suffer and invest yourself to make your living worthy enough,Yet We are encountering difficulties in life but I know that god has the purpose of it..Its the way to mend us..or the way to mold us to a strong person..There are bad stuffs in the world maybe because, its a way to balance the nature and the humanity..and besides we cant avoid to do someting bad some time..But just keep on believing GOD and he'll surely enlightend your life..

What do you mean by "he gives us everything in life" ? Most stuff in life is out of reach for people or cost more money than most people in the world have. So what exactly is he trying to mend you into? Some kinda stoic cohort? If you believe wild things like that how are you sure it isn't an alien overlord trying to recruit soldiers to battle? Lol I think aliens are more likely than Gods anyway so if there ever was any "proof" of supernatural events I'm sure its more likely t be aliens messing with us than some spiritual creature.

Our lives depends on how we make it. Be it better or bitter, still it depends on how will you go about it to create change. Some say that if when you are born poor, that's not your fault, but if you die poor, it is already your fault. Everyone face different challenges in life, we can't always live over a bed of roses. We both have strength and weaknesses, it is up to us now whether or not to face it or run away from it. Life is unfair, that's how they call, but I believe life is always fair, the thought you are still living is one proof of it. You've give another chance to change the flow of your life. It is only that our natural reaction towards those kind of situation is negative and that we got caught by our circumstance and eventually we feel cynical about life. In every problem there is an equivalent and appropriate solution. Problems and solution are entwined with each other, but the question is, how determined are we to face those kind of problems? and how eager are to find the solution?

I believe in GOD..Like the Son of God, Jesus Christ..He also experience suffering in his journey..People who gone suffering are people that GOD loves most..because theres no one can help through that situation but GOD..in this situation they can only think and pray that GOD is the only being that can help them..but some don't believe in GOD because they point that GOD is unfair..right? there are people in this world that don't view the good side..

Yes I do believe in God..There are some people who were born to suffer more the others because each of us plays a role in this earth. If you were born rich and do not have many problems at all, I guess God wants you to be lucky. One thing, be thankful of what you are and what you have. Me, I was born full of sufferings, and looking at life's positive side, I am stronger than most of my peers. I can easily adjust on hard situations and I will say "nothing is new" if there is a problem coz I already know the pain and I know where to solve the problem. I can endure longer. Those situations that happened to me made me realize to be more appreciate of the blessings that I am having right now. God gave us the heart to feel about the consquences of the decisions we made and the mind to think of the consequences. He put the mind above the heart so that we could think first and then feel. People will go to hell if they do not follow the will of God, and to heaven if they suffered to fulfill God's will. I do not know if there is a reincarnation. GOd is very miraculous and we cannot measure His wisdom, I guess all I can say is that if you are confused, Pray to God and asked Him to give you that deeper wisdom.
