rainbow?

why do rainbow only seen after the flood in the time of noah? why there is no mention of it before his time, are the people of this time really ignorant what rainbow is or they have not in anyway really have seen rainbow in their time. how about you what is your opinion why rainbow was seen only after the flood in the time of noah?

A lot of people believe there was no rain before the flood but I don't believe that. They say there was a canopy of water around the earth at some height above the earth. I don't believe that either for the simple reason it would block the sun from getting to the earth. The vegetation on this earth must have water and sun or it can't survive and that was just as true then as it is now.
The rainbow seen after the flood was God's promise to the world that e would never destroy all living things on this earth again. The rainbows we see now are simply the sun shining into moisture laden air. Did you ever make a rainbow with a fine mist of water from a hose? Stand with your back to the sun and spray the water into the air in front of you and you can see a man made one.

would you believe that it really doesn't rain at that time before the flood if the bible tells you so? look it up in gen. chapter 2 it might help

I would believe it if the Bible said it but that is not what the bible says. The bible says God made it rain in the time of Adam and Eve. Look at chapter 2 of Genesis verse 5. It says God had not caused it to rain up to then because he Had no man to till the earth. Once Adam came into being then God could make it rain to water the vegetation. It says the "Rivers" watered the gardens also and you don't have rivers without rain.
God does not try to defy the laws of Physics. You must have sun and rain or water that is produced by rain to grow anything.

the rainbow represents the promise that God will never destroy the world with water again, the next time he comes to take the world it will be with fire. it only shows in the time of noah first because thats when he ended the world by flooding it. thats all the rainbow is, is a promise from God, thats why it shows after it rains (the rain is over)

God put the rainbow in the sky as a sign of his promise that he would never flood the earth again. The rainbow is a covenant between God and mankind. So the people didn't see the rainbow before then because God hadn't made that promise to mankind yet. My favorite thing about a rainbow is the bible says that when a rainbow is in the sky God is looking at it, remembering his promise. How amazing to know that the Creator is looking at the very same thing that I am. I am always just in awe when I see a rainbow, knowing that God is looking at it too.

of course it is, noah in his time finally made to see a rainbow in all his life the first time..u believe that?
