Newcastle United Vs Hull City. Your take?

With Newcastle injury curse, they will have to play without Spiderman Jonas Gutierrez, Jose Enrique, Duff, Mark Viduka, Martins, Geremi. Even Joey Borton has a 6 match suspension. This is the worst time ever for Newcastle, and Hull City will certainly take advantage of the internal instability in St. James Park and perhaps force out an away win. I can't bare to think about the St. James park later on, with hordes of Toon Army protesting. Hull City have proved that they certainly can put on a fight with mid-rank teams. Will Michael Owen be Newcastle's savior again? My prediction: Newcastle United 1 Hull City 0, Michael Owen header :-)

Apart from the injury woes, they also do not have a full time manager. With King Kev out of the way, they are rudderless. This shows how non-footballing reasons have come to dodge this club which has such passionate fans. I hope Ashley does not come to the stadium today else there are going to be some desperate scenes. Coming to football, Hull are coming on the back of a 5-0 mauling themselves while Newcastle have shown decent football on the pitch this season. I think Newcastle will pinch it 1-0. Cheers! Ram

I truly agree that Newcastle do have very passionate fans. I think what Glenn Roeder said recently was very accurate, "When they talk about Newcastle being a great club, its only great for one reason - because it has great supporters."

Yea if Michael Owen and friends play a very top notch match, unlike they did against Arsenal they should emerge victorious.

Well, you could say that Newcastle were unlucky. I have lost count of the miss chances from Newcastle, and how many times the ball hit the bar or the post. The keeper of Hull City was certainly at his best to deny several opportunities. However, I do feel that Hull City do look like the home team, pulling off flowing pass and fast counter-attacks. Newcastle on the other hand, looks extremely shaky. I really hope that all the injured players will get well soon, and hopefully, get internal stability asap. A defeat to a new-comer is certainly painful.

I think Newcastle United will win easily...... Even though, Newcastle United are affected by the injuries and manager crisis, I think they will win easily by a margin of atleast a couple of goals.... Hull City will not be able to cope up with pressure and support of Newcastle fans at St. James Park. I think the final score will be 3-1......... The Man of the Match will be Michael Owen.
