Need help !

Hi all
I have a little problem with my laptop..
Maybe someone can help me with it or give me some advice.
The problem is the following:
When I start my laptop, the cd-drive tries to load, fails, loads again, and this just keeps going on.
I really have no idea what the problem could be, never had this problem before..

First go to your bios set up by pressing f2 during booting or according to your laptop's manual.Then change the boot device priority to your hard disc in laptop.Then just restart your laptop.I think this can solue your problem.It seems your cd rom has a problem.Repair it in a authorised service centre of your laptop.

Hi, I guess the first obvious thing to ask is, do you keep any kind of cd in the drive, even when the computer is off? When you want to use a cd disk, is it able to load normally? Otherwise your cd rom drive could be faulty. These questions are all valid. Another thing is, if you cannot use your cd rom drive then one option for you would be to purchase and external cd rom drive and connect it to your laptop via a usb port. You can disable your cd rom drive from cmos setup, this option may be available, do this before you use the external cd rom drive. Any further Qs just ask. Good luck. Andrew
