Do you lick or bite into ice cream?

There are people who can bite the ice cream and there are people who lick it. Well, I think ice cream is something to lick, maybe I think so because I can't bite into ice cream, I feel pain in my teeth when I do that - does it mean my teeth are not healthy? or people teeth who can bite into ice cream are not healthy? Well, when I want really bite into ice cream I do it with my lips, hehe it works:) so then I really EAT it, but I still think ice cream is to lick. What do you think? Do you lick it or bite it?

Hi welawai, I eat and bite into my ice cream!!! Depends on the mood whether I am craving so much for the cream especially when it's hot outside, I needed to cool up myself since I tend to sweat a lot during summer. I don't care whether I lick my ice cream or bite on its creamy part as long as the taste is yummy and sweet. Happy MyLotting!

Hi again, I don't feel the freeze when I bite into it. Maybe my teeth and gums are healthy and it can handle the cold brought by the ice cream. I do have a sweet tooth.. Thank you for adding me in your friends list ;) Again happy mylotting!

Generally ice creams are consumed by licking, but there are some hard ice creams like black current, which needs to be bitten before swallowing. You know I love to drink ice creams.

Normal do people feel a little pain when taking something cold or hot.
As for your question, I prefer licking it from the cone. I think ice cream eating is most pleasurable that way. There are times that we buy ice cream and the store doesn't have cones for sale, so we just scoop it in little cups or bowls, and spoon the ice cream. When we do this, I let the ice cream melt in my mouth. But ultimately, I don't bite into my ice cream.

yes, it has to be the same like you put a finger into HOT water, it's some shock. Oh yes ice cream in cone especially when it's a big cone with 3 or 4 ice cream scoops :D and the cone taste so good - and I can bite the cone without a problem :D eating the ice cream with a spoon is not my favorite, you feel the metal so it's taste different than when you lick it from the cone. :) Cheers !
