India is a far better team now. But still i think we have a final say in this series for dravid and laxman. I think both of them have to play really well here and prove they are good. We have a very good chance because we have got a good bowling attack too. The whole bowling attack of australia is looking weak. Even they dont have symonds. All this put together, we have a good series on hand. Share your thoughts about this series.

I don't think India can win in this series. They don't have the potential to win. They will enter the finals and loose with India.

Hello! In the last series against Australia in Australia India had given a good fight and had leveled the test series. The Team India seem better this time with good batsmen and bowlers. They are also superb in the fielding department.Besides some of the best players of Australia are not coming with the team.So India will be in an advantageous position.I am 100% sure that India will win the series.thanx.

Yes I do think that India has what it takes to beat the Australians. Team may have won the ODI series in Sri Lanka but not in the convincing manner. Last time these teams locked horns in the ODIs, India emerged victorious, so that gives India an mental edge over Aussies. One good thing for India is that Symonds is out of the series and he is such a good player of spin, certainly australia will miss him. But as always australians are champion team and they know how to win the game on any pitch.

well this will be a testing series for both the sides, with the aussies on the back foot.the indians have the luxury of playing at home and provided with the fact that aussie bowling which has been their strongest asset looks to be the weaker link of the team will help the indian's cause.the aussies will provide a tough fight but will be vulnerable against the indian bowling especially against the spin duo of bajji and anil.team india also have two exceptional fast bowling talents in zaheer and ishant, with both of them having the ability to reverse the older ball and extract bounce from a lifeless pitch.the indians too have their share of batting worries but can get over it with the likes of sachin, dravid, laxman and not to forget the ever improving dhoni and swashbuckling sehwag.the indians will take back the border-gavaskar trophy from the aussies...

I think this is the best chance India have of beating Australia in the last decade nearly. With the likes of Gillie, Langer, Warne, Mcgrath out of the way, I think India has the chance to really pull one over Australia this time around. Also the fact there are a lot of new faces and lot of players in Australia who have not played in India much before, gives India the additional edge. To make matters more fishy, a fishing trip has kept Symmo out of the tour as well. He was Australia's best player of spin and one who ruffled Indian feathers with his comments.
So all in all this could be India's best chance to win.
Cheers!
Ram
