Were they better being apart or as one group?

After the Beatle's break up, legions of fans up to the present and perhaps for the generations to come have expressed sadness of what happened to them. However, especially John and Paul, have continued making music and really made it big. I'm just thinking if they didn't break up, will they be better or not. What do you think guys?

They did some good songs as individual, including George and Ringo. But together they were fab. What they did alone pales in comparison to what they did together.
