Yes, it is true.
Obama is an absolute supporter of equal rights for women. Obama is an absolute supporter of equal pay for equal work. Is he? click the photo and then click this link.

I say that this is just one more example of the hypocrisy of 0bama.
What do you say?

On the seventh day, Obama said "Do as I say, not as I do"...
Never, ever try to confuse the Obamites with actual facts, they are intellectually incapable of understanding them.
Obam of course, is a hypocrite, like most liberals, he is good at pointing fingers while diverting attention from his own failings.

I think Obama is the most hypocritical presidential nominee this country has ever had. His double talking- believe what I say not what I do- is so typical of his glib lying personae.
redyellowblackdog you find such great articles exposing Obama for what he is I look forward to your discussions. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Barb I am so pleased to hear I am not the only one who yells at him on TV. The thought of him being president scares me silly. Although he must be scared himself as I read that he has more secret service protection that any other nominee every had!

Whiteheather, according to Obama himself, it is 'ONLY WORDS'. I get a good laugh from him every time he opens his mouth. I find myself screaming at the television more and more lately! If the public is so stupid to vote for this man, then they deserve what they get. But what bothers me is the thought that the rest of us would have to suffer, as well. And, that's frightening.

0bama is a charismatic smooth talker. It is going to take a lot of work to keep him from being elected. We all need to do what we can.

I really was surprised. Women's rights are one of the biggest and most important issues. I did not think any liberal would dare act hypocritical in this area. I guess 0bama spent too much time in a Muslim country when young and picked up some of that women are inferior attitude.

You make a good point here. He is a hypocrite. If people took a close look at his plans for all the issues, they'd find that many of them are unworkable or would do the USA more harm than good. How foolhardy to think about putting someone as inexperienced as Obama in the Oval Office. He obviously is making up everything as he goes along and if he happens to get it wrong he will change his mind the next day and say something else. Hopefully people will start comparing his words to his actions and realize he is ALL talk.

The internet is making it possible for people to more easily catch these hypocrits. Say anything, and it is saved on the net somewhere.

This is because liberals don't really care about women's issues. Or Abortion. Or the poor. Or minorities. Only Power. They only use these groups to deliver votes.

I had read an article earlier on the difference in wages of women and men when doing the same jobs. But this one is strictly an eye opener. And it is amazing that McCain, who has been talked about so much, pays his women more than the men in the top jobs. In fact, he even hires more women than men! How long is it going to take to get this out to the whole public sector so people can see that Obama's speech is 'JUST WORDS'?

I listened to a little of that Video with him saying that again today. Sort of turns my stomach. I don't guess we need to hold our breath until someone does tell him in his own words what his speeches are - Just Words. It will never happen.

There was a father that had two sons. The father asked his older son to do something for him, and his son said yes I will but the son did not do it. The same father asked his younger son to do something, but his son said he would not. After a while the son decided to do what his father had asked him to do. Which son did the will of their father? The same can be applied to McCain and Obama. Obama says he will fight for equal pay for women, but he does not pay his own female staffer the same as their male counter parts. McCain has never said that he was a champion for womens rights yet when give the chance to bring equality to pay that is just what he did. So which two candidates represents women's rights more?

I like your story!
Now, let's change it. Let's say the father had 3 sons. Keep the father asking the first 2 sons the same thing as he did, but add this.
"The father did not ask the third son to do this something because he knew the third son was wise and did not need to be asked to do what was right.".

Chalk up another one for inexperience. I don't think we are supposed to know about how much he pays his people. I wonder if he even knows. I have a feeling he doesn't deal with payroll, and just passes the buck down to someone below him.

I'd like a President who hires people to pass the buck to who happen to follow the recommended procedures. That is, someone other than Obama probably did do the staffing and hiring, but Obama is still the responsible party.

I am surprised considering how much this could hurt 0bama in the election. Everyone in the MSM tells me how smart 0bama is, so how could he be so dumb?

Lets see have fun with statistics!
Are they doing the same jobs?
Do they have the same qualifications?
Are they performing in the same positions?
If the answers to these questions are yes then the Obama is a hypocrit and a liar.
If the answers to these questions are no then the article is using statistics to make Obama appear to be a liar and a hypocrit.
Which do you believe is the truth? I am going for option 2.
The fact is that the "pay disparity" that everyone believes exists does not in most cases. There are many reasons for that disparity and far down the list is gender as the overriding factor. Choice is one of the key reasons that women and men have a disparity in pay. That is womens choice versus mens choice. Choice in career. Choice in work/life balance.

Both of you fail to see that I have no arguement in either direction. I don't take statistical looks at these types of things and say YES these are facts. I also don't happen to agree with the "feminist" whine that all women are always paid less than all men for performing exactly the same work with exactly the same qualifications and credentials. It is BS.
I also don't care whether McCain surrounds himself with women and Obama surrounds himself with men.
Not why I will vote for one or the other.

Blargh, you always suck me in with your sensational headlines!!
I just read the article, and if I read correctly (and frankly, its late and I'm sleepy, I may not have ) the reason the Obama staffers were not making the same wages is because there were more men holding the higher paying positions?
If that is the case, I don't see anything wrong with that. Shouldn't the position go to the most qualified? Not the candidate with the most vag?

That pretty much describes the difference between the Dems and the 'pubs. The
Democrats talk about equal rights for women. The Republicans put women in more important posts.
Democrats Talk about helping the poor but the cities that they are in charge of are dumps. They think that taxing the rich will help the poor. But the reality is that it will only raise prices and lower wages.
Democrats talk. Republicans DO.

It is a valid argument, Obama's female staffers are not being paid less for doing the same job, they are doing jobs at a lower salary (presumably equal to what their male equals are making, the article didn't address that). I don't believe it's to anyone's benefit to hire based on gender, just as I wouldn't see it appropriate to hire based on race.

Read the article again. It doesn't say he has fewer women in higher paying Positions. It says he has fewer women among his "highest-compensated employees."
No mention is made of what positions they fill. Both numbers are an average of the entire full time staff of both men. McCain hires more women than Obama. He pays them more on average than Obama. Twenty one cents on the dollar more. That's 21%. 1/5th Nothing to sneeze at.

That pretty much sums things up. Obama needs to be on the national stage and in the spotlight a few more years so we can get to know him better before anyone should vote for him for President.
