I love to go onto Wikipedia because it helps me learn a thing quick if I'm in a hurry. But some teachers won't let you use wikipedia as a valid source and I think that's stupid. Although I have to agree with them because sometimes the definitons of some things and articles about things aren't always right. And wikipedia has a group of people on there checking articles, but they can't check all of them. So how valid is wikipedia?

I think it is a very valid source. It is very accurate most of the time. Of course, it is not perfect. But, no online source is, and sometimes even traditional paper sources aren't. You might need to sometimes verify information there with another source just to make sure. But, more often than not, it is quite accurate. I would consider it a valid source. :)

I think it's excellent.
On all of the things I've looked up, it has been full of information which was in far too much depth for me to bother with.
For example, I needed to know about the megazords in the Power Rangers series (not for me, you understand, but for my daughter to enter a competition) and not only did it have all the characters names and villains and weapons and megazords, it also had when they were made, in which order, who had the original idea and so on.
For what I needed, which megazord belonged to whom, it was extremely informative.
I know that people have put in incorrect information before, but just like anything else really, it is open to some abuse, which usually gets picked up and removed.
I will continue to use it as a quick reference.
