What do you think will happen in 2012

i think many people concern that 2012 will be the end of the world because researchers predicted that if we don't collectively change our lifestyle, if we live 'as usual', an extremely vast icy area on some place on the earth will melt and it will significantly increase the sea level and flood some vulnerable areas. the icy areas play important roles to reflect sunshine, hence keep the earth from collecting too much heat from the sun. so, as a chain-reaction, the extinction of the vast icy areas will speed up the global warming which will greatly affecting our life and even our existence. that's why our fighting against global warming have to be a collective movement, where everyone have to take a part. otherwise what implies in the myan calendar will come true.

I think that whatever is going to happen, it's just going to happen. It may turn out to be a normal year with the same old dramas, predicaments and joys as the previous years...if it's not, then, well, it's inevitable and we can't change it. I will not allow myself to worry about it though. I have too many other valid situations to worry about on a daily basis. It should be interesting though, and I hope I'm around to see Jan. 1st of 2012.

Do yoember the Y2K scare? Not a thing happened then, and I donk anything will happen in 2012. Predictions have been made about almost every part of the calendar, and there have been a couple of "hits" we've heard about well after the fact, so they obviously had little or no impact. I just pray for each year to be better than those before it.

The year 2012 will be 365 days, and what will happen then or tomorrow no one knows. Remember our life can end at any time. So as one person told me once that "we should live each day as it will be our last and live each day as it the first day of the rest of our lives." So enjoy each day that we are given and make the most of it. Do the most good and store for yourself treasures in heaven where no one can take them.
