haha I'm forever finding myself talking to myself. Then when i realize it it's like why are you talking to yourself and then you feel like an idiot.. Another thing i find myself doing is answering my own questions .. i really irritate myself when i do that lol. i ask why i ask questions if im only going to answer them myself lol

At least when you answer your self no one can argue with you that the answer is wrong.

I do that most of the time specially when i am nervous or angry. Strangely it helps me relax. Others may find it weird but I feel good and confident talking to myself. I am the best listener of my own problems :D

I talk to myself when I'm trying to remember something. Like when I miss place something; I talk myself through where I had seen it last.

Oh my gosh, all the time! I am alone alot so it just comes naturally! I do feel stupid when I do it and tell myself.."oh shut up!"

I used to get self-conscious at this, but not anymore. It isn't stupid to talk to yourself sometimes. Many people tend to remember things better when they hear them. Sometimes, if doing something technical, I'll say the next steps out loud so that I can commit them to memory better. The same goes for practicing something important that you are about to go say to someone. If I get caught I stop, but I don't appologize for it, or feel bad about it.

Of course, how else are you going to get the truth? LOL! Yes, I find I talk to my self all the time when I am trying to figure out a plan of action or to solve a problem and there is no one else to talk to. Yes, it is a little one sided but I never loose an argument that way. Happy MyLotting.....

Of course! Where else am I gonna find someone on my exact intellectual level? It's when I start arguing with myself that I get upset.

Yeah - I've said things out loud to myself in public and had someone turn around and look at me like I was talking to them. All I could do is smile, sometimes acknowledging that I was thinking out loud. It's embarrassing, yet I still do it.
