PTC sites and the adverts they show

Hi, i have been trying my hand at affiliate marketing for a while and one way i advertise is using ptc sites, but the one thing i have noticed on all of them, is that you never ever see is an advert for a real company like, adidas, nike, johnson&johnson, is it because ptc and all those other advertising sites are just a waste of time?
