I have ordered a book on e-bay a month ago. It has not arrived. I contacted the seller and promised to send a replacement book. Should i trust the seller? Have you ever been tricked on e-bay?

Not exactly tricked, no but I did have a DVD I bought get caught up in customs for fear of being pirated once. The seller did end up doing the right thing though and ended up refunding part of the cost and I did end up getting the DVD eventually as well. All we can do is take note of the ratings for the seller and if there aren't any ratings then tread with caution. Most people I know that have been taken by ebay sellers get done on the shipping charges more than anything else so make sure you always clarify these charges when you buy something. If the seller doesn't replace the book then all you can do is rate them negatively and report them.

Yeah I've been tricked with an extra $10 shipping insurance. It wasn't cool, but I still bought the item cheap enough to sell for a $20 profit. I think the seller added the shipping insurance after the bidding had ended.
