Why do some men get a woman pregnant and then leave?

I don't understand if a man don't really like a woman why would he have unprotected s3x with her knowing that she may get pregnant, and then why is it that when the woman get pregant and she tells the man that she is pregnant why does he leave her, why don't he stick around and take care of his child?
