What does everyone think about Depp and Hoffman as the villains for next Batman?

i don't know what made the batman series that important that a class actors like johhny depp would even consider it, i mean come on it's a story about a man who dresses as a bat and flies between houses, it's like reading that tom cruise is doing spider man 4

Johnny Depp as the Riddler sounds good. He was pretty good in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He was funny but he also had a dark side to him which is what I think the Riddler needs. As for Philip Seymour Hoffman, he played one hell of a bad guy in Mission Impossible 3. I think he fits the role of the Penguin for the next Batman film.

I guess Johnny Depp would be perfect as the next Riddler. Also, based on the previous batman movies, I bet they'd alter this villain the way they altered the Joker. I can't wait to see the next Batman movie.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. I think Johnny Depp is a good choice however, I can't comment on Hoffman, as I haven't watched his movies.

If they really play those roles it will be one hell of a movie.hoffman is a great actor.and what can anyone say about dear old johnny...he is just the best.I would love to see him as the riddler.though jim carrey did wonderfully well as the riddler but the movie was really poor.I have high hopes for chistopher nolan....he is a complete genius...i would surely love this batman....

Im looking forward to it a lot even though no one beats danny devito as the peguin he was just perfect and should be the peguin for this movie again. I think johnny depp will do very good as the riddler and excpect lots of girls to see this movie because of him.

It might be interesting. Phillip Semour Hoffman was great in Charlie Wilson's War. i just saw that last week. I think that the best thing would be to have just one of them in a movie both of them might be alittle bit overwhelming.

Johnny Depp as the Riddler? I saw Jim Carrey as the Riddler and he was perfect for that, I don't know how Johnny Depp would interpret that role. He will probably do it was different! Jim Carrey was his exaggerated, jumpy, loopy self. Johnny is just so different!
