Ever since john mccain elected Sarsh palin as his VP candidate it seems Barack obam is on a back foot. The popularity of Sarah Palin has surprised everyone. and for the first time John mccain is ahead in national polls. Sarah palin has managed to electrify the Republican base which was once weary of John Mccain. This sounds lika a big trouble for Obama and he has to respond with a good message to counter this.

Not surprising to me, Palin can get all the same people that hepled Bush get two terms. The religious right, who will vote for whom ever their preachers tell them to. God bless the USA

Yes, exactly what I was thinking. With everyone's attention at Palin it is looking like Palin is Republican candidate for President not McCain. But with the financial crisis at Wall Street Obama has a chance to regain the momentum that he has been losing for past few months.

I just heard tonight that Palin's negatives have gone up quite a bit just since Saturday so I think her shine might be dulling already. No, Taskr, I have no link to prove it and since my word of having heard it isn't good enough, or you'll say I must have heard it on some liberal network (translated - not Fixed News), so it's not true. Anyway...whatever...lol!
I think people are learning finally that "It's the economy AGAIN, stupid!" even if McCain does think the fundamentals of our economy are strong. Talk about a "loser"!

I think they are tied in the polls. However McCain did get some points when he picked Palin to be his running mate.
What baffles me is who are they polling? I've never contributed anything and I am a voter. So who really knows who is ahead. The people who contribute their thoughts to the polls are probably cherry picked and biased to keep it spicy.

I am sorry i can not agree with that True Obama may be beginning to fall behind in the polls however it i think has nothing to do with Palin,s popularity I have some ideas why but it may be in my best interests to not say why i think this is happening .Good Luck and May the best man win
