I have a video game and for some unknown reason, the game system it was in put a huge scratch in one complete circle on the disk. How can I try and get it fixed?? Its a brand new game and I dont want to have to go out and buy a new one. It cost me $60 dollars.

If you take EXTREMELY fine sandpaper you can actually sand the scratch off. The information on the cd is not stored on the plastic part of the cd, but rather on the silver part.A lot of cd shops will buff scratched out for you, but all they do is use sandpaper. Once you're done sanding(very very carefully of course)you then buff it out. There are products and stuff at a local shopping center that should let you do the buffing.
If this doesn't work then your no worse off then you were before.

I suggest trying a skip doctor. It is a buffer made by digital innovations that usually gets rid of scratches on a CD/DVD. Just a question. When you purchased the video game did you check it out before putting it in the console? If you didn't it may have already been there and you could return it to the store that you bought it from. If not if the warranty is still good on your console I would suggest calling the manufacturer.
