Website advertising

I have a new auto surf website that is doing well but of course I am wanting to get more people. I am wondering what the best way to get people visiting your site - how do you get it out there? My site: http://www.topsurfing.net/index.php?action=signup&id=1 Thank you for any advise you have.

A website is like a shop you need to promote it, so go onto sites leave a comment on popular blogs leaving your link to your website but make sure your link is relevant to the blog or else it will be considered spamming, answer discussions on forums again leave your link and finally make your own blog this all creates back links which is beneficial for your website and it's position with the search engines.
