Were/Are you happy in college?

I was happy in school when I was in high school. When I got to college, I couldn't be as happy as before. I am not happy in college. I don't have much friends too. I just don't want to fit in and I don't fit in. I am not happy because of the people in school, and not because of the school. Maybe it's just a phase. I am in my third year now. I have three semesters to go and a summer for OJT. That's it then I'm off to graduate. I can't wait. Were you happy when you were in college? Are you happy that you are in college? Were/Are you "anxious" to graduate?

I was happy during the first three years of college.. I still had those classmates of mine who made it interesting. Of course, as each year passed, one or two of them would be gone.. either switching to another course or studying to another school.. a bit sad that they had to go but, glad that most of them decided it for themselves. By the end of college, hesitation came and uncertainty.. I knew that I'd graduate sooner or later but, wasn't really looking forward for it.. the years just went by so it seems..

Everyone have the feeling in college! So do i! Deaming the future job, will not depend on parents and do what we want to do! In fact ,it is not so good that we dreamed.difficulty and trouble is more than in the college. I relized the knowledge is more and more improtant. regreted didn't learn it well. I return the adult school, learning when i free! Please cherish what you have!

I was the happiest I had ever been up until then, when I was college. High school was too confining for me. I really came into being who I was deep down in college. The friends you make in college are much, much different than high school friends. That's just something that has to be accepted. It seemed to me that college was no longer about fitting in but rather, becoming the best 'you' you can possilby be. Of course you will attract a different type of person to you when your purpose changes. If you are hanging on to high school, you could be preventing yourself from making some great friends that are right there under you nose. ......... that was just my experience with college.

Ooohhh, I wasn't trying to tell you to grow up. Transitioning from HS to college is a difficult thing. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Ya i agree that college is not as fun as school was. Probably because when you were in college people starts talk about money , fashion, relationship, clubbing, smoking and drinking. When you was in high school they don't talk about it that much. But overall i don't think college is that bad too. I am super anxious to graduate and come out to work plus marry hehe..

I am happiest in college because I was more free back then, During college I am happy because I am free to do the things that define and that is besides doodling on my notes is magic. Back in high school we were not allowed to carry a deck of cards for it might be used for gambling and of course magic was a big no no because it might look demonic. At least in college I was able to do it freely and everyday I bring my deck of cards.

college is really different.. you have to cope with a lot of changes... I really enjoyed my first school, it's an exclusive school for girls, located somewhere in Manila. I instantly found a friend during our orientation and gained more after a week or two... =) My classmate, Lea, is my closest friend in school. She's always been my partner in laboratory classes, my confidante and my best buddy. we are alike in so many ways, the way we dress-up, the way we put on our make up, the way we talk, the way we think, in short we are like sisters! i miss her terribly.

Yeah. I should be enjoying my stay in a prestigious university.. but then I can't seem to enjoy it the way I enjoyed high school. Aw. I miss my best friend too. We were like, partners in everything too. I miss her company so much. I can never find anyone like her in college. I guess that's why I'm so sad. I have no one.

When I was in High school, I couldn't wait to go to college. And when I was in college I just wanted to start working. But now that I am working, I realize that I should have had more fun while I was studying. I really enjoyed my college life. While I was studying I could do anything that I wanted. I had more time for myself and I had less worries. How I wish I could do it all over again.

I was happiest in high school too. College was just something I had to do. I hung out with people, made a couple of friends, but they will never be my closest friends. I'm still friends with people I knew in high school, even though we live all over the place. In college people just come and go. I had some fun, but overall it was boring. Now that I'm thinking of going back to get my masters, I'm entertaining the idea of online learning (from a good school of course). If safe to say if your in your 3rd year, that it's not a phase. Graduation is right around the corner, so YEAH!!! for that.

Yeah. Haha! Thanks. I agree. College is like running an errand. Like some chore. It's so mediocre. I just try to be professional. People do come and go. What I experienced is that these college people usually approach you if they need something from you. It's what we call "user friendly." LOL. These users are friendly when they need you. So yeah. I can't wait to get out of college. I keep in touch with my high school friends. They're my best friends. :)

Hi.. i was very happy in school and in college but i was the happiest when i was in university. This is because i was in the country that i always dreamt of going. i was in Uk. When i was in my first year, i had quite a number of friends from Malaysia, second year, i had less because my friends were my seniors and they had graduated.Third and fourth year, i was also happy. Although i dont have much friends from Malaysia, but i managed to have two close friends who were my course mates. They were from Bangladesh and Angola. I think i enjoyed my education years, and i managed to graduate with flying colours.
