with such controversy made by the book written by Brown with regards to da Vinci's Last Supper painting, should we consider recalling the painting as Christian relics? what can you say about this?

Not sure about Da Vinci religious conviction. But just some people try to make money in a negative way, I think the value of an art should not go down. That would be giving in to reckless individuals who's out there to destroy truth and beauty.

I am not quite sure what you mean by Christian relics. Da Vinci painted the last supper following traditions and visions of the time in which he lived. It should be viewed as a piece of art. Brown's book is a work of fiction. He states this at the beginning of the book, therefore the book should be regarded purely as a work of fiction.

I totally agree with Lindalinda. I see it as a piece of art....since Da Vinci wasn't actually there at the Lord's supper.

christian relics are things like artworks, garments or personal things and belongings which the early christian believe to be in their possession or in association..and this painting of da vinci is believe to be an artwork painted by of a known agnostic of his time if i am not mistaken.
