I know I've been there. I've had numerous discussions and arguments with someone, only to find myself with nothing to rebutt with, although I've felt with all my being that what they were saying was wrong, and then a short time later been kicking myself with the thought "why didn't I think of that earlier!!!". I've had it while talking with friends, relatives, and even my husband! and I find it soooooo frustrating!!!!! What're your experiences?

Welcome to mylot! I have done this more times than I care to remember. Ain't hindsight a wonderful thing! There was actually a Seinfeld episode where George Costanza would keep coming up with the perfect comeback towards a colleague at work AFTER the confrontation. So he went to great lengths to get the chance to say what he should have said in the first place even to the point of flying interstate to get him back! It is definitely frustrating but sometimes we just don't think as quickly on our feet as we would like to!
