you weren't able to graduate from school? that you qualify for the skills and the experience but you just don't have the academic requirement for that certain position? i have this friend who technically qualifies for a certain position in the company because of her experience having trained in that particular industry for many years already but unfortunately, she was unable to finish college and that promotion specifically called for someone who is a graduate so she didn't get the promotion.

I personally don't think that is right. Maybe a person couldn't afford to go to school. And I think life experience is sometimes worth more than classroom experience. Although on the other hand I guess one would say that it wouldn't be right for that person to get the job over the one that did spend all the money to get the degree. Still there should be a middle road. Like maybe offer her the job but that she would still need to take a semester of school or another class. I wish her luck.

yes, i think that would be better, having a compromise. i know how to advice her now, maybe she really has to finish school if she wants to really make it big in the company that she is working for.
