Have you made money selling online?

I don't mean just with ebay (or as I call them, FEEbay), but with any online selling site? I've tried so many and I love the concept. It's a lot more interesting than clicking or reading emails, but some people just seem to do so well at it and others don't. I'm one of those others. So, my question is, have you made money selling online? If so, what products were the most successful and what website worked best for you? I'm all ears! (eyes?)

Ive never tried Jan its hard I would think to make a living out of selloing on the auction sites,if people want say second hand clothes then they will go to charity/thrift stores and they dont have to pay the postage either, but there are cases where people would be veru glad to have the chance to shop online,if they have a disability that makes it hard for them to visit the shops then the internet is the plsace for them.I take a look at Ebay from time to time, but it always bores me to tears after a while, the whole set up seems repetitive to me,there are people who just list a load of junk and im sure that there sellers fees must be costing them money rahter than making them money.

HI {{chubbycheeks}} Yes, Ebay is rough, and it eats you alive on "fees", you have to be smart, and play it smart on there; as much as I hate FEEEEEBAY... I can't really survive without it, ( saleswise) they are the GIANT out there for a reason, and its so hard to get people to your own site, to even look at what you have to offer for sale you know? thanks for sharing!!

dreamweaverjan, Hello. Yes, we have and currently make money on-line. "Selling", we do not do much of this, BUT we are "FINDERS". I know, I know...you may ask, "A FINDER, what is this?"... A finder is someone who matches a buyer with a seller. It is NOT the fastest money, but it is the easiest money you will ever make! Get the report written by our good friend J.F. (Jim) Straw "FINDERS FEES", simply go to my profile and grab it there...

Ebay is the only site I've ever sold on and I don't sell on there anymore. The site became so flooded that it was really hard to make any kind of money at it anymore. I still buy on there sometimes but that's it. ~~MY OWN PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF**

My husband has made alot of money on Craig's list. He prefers that to sites like ebay because he can sell locally. I think yahoo has a marketplace. I have sold some books on cash4books.net. See my blog. They tend to want new releases though.

HI there: I too have used Craig's list over the years, I never actually sold anything on there but I did find myself a great price on a new keyboard...LOL! I do need to get back onto craigs list and post a few items, maybe they will sell now seeing as how its getting closer to the holidays...good grief! where oh where has this year gone too?? I got rid of most of my books at yard sales over the years and then gave a bunch to my library....and some neighbor kids... but thank you for the suggestions!!
