Do you clean your ears everydaY?

Dont know if this is true but I was always led to believe that ear wax forms as its the bodys natural way of self cleansing. I dont know if thats true? I do know however from once cleaning my ears out with cotton buds that I pushed the things too far into my ear and ended up with ear ache that lasted at least a couple of days. Since then I've never used the things. Instead now when I'm in the shower or the bath I use a warm flannel and just gently wipe the outer part of my ear which usually takes care of any wax/

I clean my ears with cottonbuds like...5 times a day. It has become my habit I cannot live without bringing cottonbuds with me. I'm aware that this isn't healthy because I've read before that we shouldn't clean our ears everyday because the natural wax in our ears acts as protectant. But I couldn't get out from this habit. My ears even hurt because of constant cleaning.

Hi. insulin. I don't clean out my ears everyday, but I do make sure that I clean them very often. I don't like a bunch of earwax stuck into my ears. It can make it hard for me to hear. So, I will make sure that I clean my ears very often.

No I don't. I just clean if its really dirty. lol. Cleaning your ear everyday can cause dryness of the wax in your ear which I think can lead to being deaf.

i use a q-tip atleast once a day. I do it when i get out of the shower. i also will do it if my ears start to bother me. if i dont do it my ears feel dirty. my doctor always said dont stick anything in your ear smaller than your elbow but he is crazy if he thinks i am going to listen. i will also have my mom do a really good cleaning of my ears every 6 months or so. it feels so good. and i think i can hear even better the few days after

No i donot clean the ears daily, it is not necessary at all, if the buds are reused it might cause infection, i clean once in a fortnight using fresh cotton buds only, i never suffered from infection... Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Prof

Yeah I clean my ears daily. It feels really good to me because I go to far I am sure and just scratch the inside of my ear.

Yes, I do clean my ears everyday with cotton buds after I shower. It has become a very bad habit. I clean even if my ears aren't dirty. I watched a news before that it's not healthy to clean your ears everyday because earwax are supposed to be protectants. It's not also good to clean using cotton buds because it only pushes the wax further inside your ears which may lead to deafness. According to the news, we should only clean our ears once a month and a specialist should do it using a syringe. As for me, after watching that news I planned to stop cleaning my ears everyday but I couldn't get around to doing it. ;D

it is good to do earwax...BUT only after sone time periods...not daily. I always used to do on every sundays. In between no time to clean ears. I think its not necessary to clean every day and it will not affect anything. So always clean ears every after 15 days. NO PROBLEM.

Yes i do clean my ears everyday. ITs not good to have earwax in it and its not good to look at. You will still dirty if you never clean up your ears with cotton buds. Just do it slowly so that you will not hurt. Remember its good to be clean always. Very refreshing!

I use cotton swabs, those baby ear suction things, and about twice a year I drop a mixture of peroxide/water in them. I just don't want to ever have an impaction problem.

i clean mine everyday as i hate it when they feel clogged up.same as you i use cotton buds.ouch to the infection you got from pushing one in to far

i always clean my ears every after taking my shower to make it clean, normally i use cotton buds to clean the area though sometimes i use earwax remover also. i dont normally push it too hard coz theres a tendency that the wax will go inside so just a circle stroke inside is already ok, thats why we need to use earwax remover sometimes even just once a month to really take off the wax inside instead of pushing the buds.

I always do my best to keep my ears clean as much as possible. I use cotton swabs, I know that I should not, but I do not have any earwax remover, so I have no other way of getting rid of the wax.

i clean my ear every 2 days, yes you right thats disgusting to look and smell so bad but i usually do that every 2 days with cottonbuds after taking a bath, and my wife always remind me to clean my ear.

I do clean my ears everyday. But you dont have to clean it thoroughly everyday. You might end up getting your ears damage. They say its bad to clean it everyday but I get conscious if I dont.

I do it every morning when I get out of the shower. I use alot of hairspray so I want to make sure that I get it all out.....I use cotton swabs. One a year or so I do use peroxide loosen the wax and get it all out of my ears.

hii....i always clean my ears.....everybody shoud clean their ears in order to prevent anytype of hearing problem.....people not very often clean their ears .....bcos...they will neglect that part ...and they think that its a small issue...but clean ur ears every day.....if u dont clean ur ears .....they will show the effect i ur future....dont neglect ur ears....people think that they are not facing any type of problems from their ears...so they will neglect....and it will cause problems..daily after u wakeup...clean ur ears with cotton buds gentle.....so that u can remove some dust..... the main reasons of dust in our ears is......... 1-- due to the pollution..... 2--due to neglegence.... thanq.... cheers....

ya iam cleaned my eyes every day with cool water.
