Will the world end in 2016?

Many people think it will end in 2012 because the mayans predicted it. Actually the mayans never really predicted it. Their calendar just ended which may mean that a change is approaching. If Obama, for example, is the antichrist, which I'm not saying he is, his term would end in 2012, right? I don't think he would start tormenting the world once he gets into office but he will start tormenting in 2012 - which would be the change from peace to a nightmare. His term will end in 2012 (3 1/2 years - which the is the years the antichrist is supposed to spread peace). 3 1/2 years after 2012 will be the torture, when those 3 1/2 years are over the end will suddenly take place - which is in July 6th, 2016.
I don't believe that Obama is the antichrist though, since Javier Solana already signed the 7 year peace treaty with Israel I think he is. Did you know Javier already signed the peace treaty? He must be hiding it if many people don't know - why? Javier also follows the description (study more about him and compare him to the Bible's description) "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any God: for he shall magnify himself above all." (Daniel 11:37) - even though Obama does regard the God of his father (rejecting muslim) he doesn't regard the desire of women. Javier does not regard the desire of women - since he is never around with his wife (being on the road), even though it's probably her desire to have him home with her.

Hi handsomeitaliano, I don't believe the world will end in either 2012 or 2016. This world will end for you and me when we make our transition to the spiritual realm. Man has the ability to destroy the world as we know it at any time, and I suppose it could just happen in one of these years. Blessings

the world was never created, so it did not have a beginning. what did not have a beginning will not have and end. all predictions of end of world has ended in failure. there is enough material out here on internet to prove that all these are failures. humanity will continue to live even after 2012. this happened previously, so it will happen in the times to come.
as for obama is anti christ. i dont agree with it. the concept of anti christ itself is ridiculous. off late anybody whom the vested interest hates is being painted as anti christ. if obama did not contest for presidential election, i dont think he would have been the anti christ the vested ineterests were looking for. that crown would have gone to another unfortunate man.
end of world is a never ending fantasy. because they is NO END.

It has been like that even before. There has been a news about world that will end supposedly last 2000 but it never happened. I think we shouldn't be believing those kind of news. There will always be news like that and i know we will never stop worrying if its true or not. I guess if its our time then whatever happens wherever we are we will die. Happy mylotting!

those people who said that the world will end in 2012 or 2016 should actually provide the evidence to convince the people that the world will actually end in 2012 or 2016... I really don't believe in such things, and none of them actually make sense!! Also, there's actually no guarantee that Obama's term will end in 2012, because first of all, we're not sure if McCain or Obama is going to be elected for presidency, and if Obama does get elected this election, then he might be elected again on 2012 election because he could be so darn popular during his first term.
So... it's really retarded how some of those people came up with an idea that states the world will end in 2012... or 2016.. impossible!!

You got a lot of information,but I have to say that unless any astronomical event take place the world wont end.If you say that a meteor is coming towards earth,I may think for the possibility of it hitting the earth.Other wise I dont believe that the world will end any soon.Thank You for having this discussion.

I don’t think so. we are always talking about the good and the bad and relating it to Christ and the Antichrist. But we are leaving the vast number of atheists who are not radical but logical, who don’t believe in either the Christ or the Antichrist. So it wont be possible to divide the world into two straight halves…there are many who would not take any sides and instead spread the worlds of peace and kindness. Its for them that the world may yet survive.

Scary topic but its true that everything will end but we just don't know when. I remember during the 80's a lot of people predicted that the world will end on Millenium when we reached the year 2000. Where we are now?, still here right. In my opinion that goes with a strong conviction, only God can predict what will happen to the world especially when we talk about the end. He can end it tomorrow or in an hour, we don't know. He is the ultimate God and He can change everything and anything. So I think the world will end anytime. This is also the reason why we should also give ourselves to the Lord. Repent and start a relationship with him once and for all. He is the creator and God of all gods. The ultimate one. Just try to imagine all the people are good christians, peace and harmony will be everlasting and God may not take the world back to His hands.
