I live with 5 cats and a dog. Only one of the cats belongs to me. The rest of the animals are my girlfriend's.
She has two cats that like to try thier hands (uh paws) at a couple of things.
One likes to type on the computer. (he's actually improved this year)
The other likes to phone long distance. (we've met new friends that way)
Her dog, still thinks its a cat and behaves in a totally cat-like manner. (I wonder why? Duh.)
What are some of the things that your pet(s) do/does that makes you laugh?

We have two dogs (Maltese) and two cats, so that in itself is a riot, especially since the dogs are the size of the cats. Husband's cat (4 pounds), youngest dog (5 pounds), oldest dog (7 pounds), my cat (16 pounds). Life can get quite hectic with them around.
I think the funniest thing I've seen any of them do is when my youngest dog, Lilly, gets, umm, rambunctious. Now, we're talking about a little white cotton ball with a little black nose and 2 little black eyes. She sits there, looking like she wants to instigate trouble. If anyone moves the least little bit towards her, she kind of moves around a foot or so, sideways, apparently not moving any appendages at all. It's like something pushed her sideways, but she does it entirely on her own... nothing moves, but everything moves, all at once. Suddenly, she's a foot to the right or left without moving her legs.
It's hysterical to watch. You can't help but laugh and wonder how in the world she does that! I've seen cats jump straight up without seeming to move a muscle, but never a dog.
It looks funnier than it sounds, honest! I just can't describe it well here.
Another thing they do is that one of the dogs will get under the covers on the bed and run around while the other one is pouncing on that moving lump.
My husband's cat is the meanest critter I've ever encountered (everyone who meets her knows this) and my cat is the most docile (okay, lazy) and laid back animal I've ever met. Nothing really funny about them. But those dogs...!
I used to have a cat who 'fetched'. He loved it when you would flick a squished up ball of paper across the room. He'd fetch it and drop it at your feet to do again. I was renovated a house once and had taken down a wall. In that wall was a wire that led to a light switch, which I had to move, but left a small hole in the floor where it used to come up from the basement. Until I patched up that hole, that cat would take his little balls of paper over to it and drop them over the hole, then try to catch then before they went through the hole into the basement. He managed to do it most of the time but, eventually, there was quite a pile of little balls of paper in the basement right under that hole.
Pets can be such fun and very entertaining. It's no wonder people live longer when they have a pet.

Hahahahahah! Hilarious!
You're absolutely right...pets can be such fun.
Get this, whenever my girlfriend leans over and gives me a little peck, HER dog
starts barking at her, as if to say: "Hey, watch it lady. That's my friend you're touching, and I'm keeping my eyes on you."
I swear it's the funniest thing to see.
I just tell my girlfriend: "Well, she's my friend, ya know?"
We laugh over taht one.
Good stuff mentalward;
Cheeers luv.

Hahahaha! You reminded me of a Cocker Spaniel we had once. He growled at anyone who gave any of us a hug. My sister, mother and I were living together and this dog was very protective of us.
He was SO protective that, when one of us would 'pretend' to hit another one, saying "Bad person, bad person!" Chris (the dog) would grab the offender's wrist ever so gently and pull it away from the victim.
At the time, we had a gas meter reader whom we all trusted and would leave a key for to get in to read the meter. One time, when we were all at school or work, the gas man let himself in. My mother, who worked just down the street, came home for lunch only to hear "Help! Help!" coming from the basement.
The dog had let him come into the house and down to the basement to read the meter, but he wouldn't let the guy back up out of the basement!
It was a good thing she came home for lunch, otherwise that poor man would have been stuck in the basement the entire day! LOL

My yorkie gets people to laugh all the time. She will have an argument with my husband. Where he starts to do a certain thing and she barks in a certain tone! As if to tell him off.

We have a dog that likes to sleep in the cat's litter tray! Yuk!!
He also makes us laugh because when we bath him (which is quite often) he comes in and rubs his face all over the carpet, but he does it with his hind quarters still standing up. It's really hard to describe, but so funny to watch, because he runs around the living room with his face on the floor!
The cat, I think, now thinks she's a dog. Whenever we take the dog for a walk, she comes too. And if we walk too far for her, she sits down and makes such a noise, people think she has been abandoned or attacked. But she waits there for us until we return and then gets back in line - usually next to the dog!

That's pretty funny.
Whenever my girlfriend's dog sneezes or snorfs (if that is a word?) I do the same back to her. The dog gets quite upset with me fro making fun of her, she starts barking incessently. I bark, she barks, I bark, she barks. etc., etc.
My cat, who is coming into his tenth year this December, used to go wild over chasing my red laser pointer light. He's gotten a little chubby over the years, so now he just lays down and watches the dog go nuts instead.
Good one.
Thanks for your response.
