Are there any things you've done to study for tests that have worked really well for you? Do you tend to procrastinate or study a little bit at a time from an earlier date?

Now i'm preparing for my upcoming board examination this novemeber...Before i graduated on my course i took lots of exam before...I'll share some of my tips that works on me and might works for everyone...
1. Study earlier - i used to study 2 weeks before my exam...At this poin, i start reading all the notes and lectures i used to review...So that i'll not cramming if i forgot some lecture to study at least i alloted myself to review earlier..
2. Always take down notes - i Think this is important..some proffesors giving an exam which is not on the books it's not their lectures...At least you have a lecture and you'll be pretty safe on exam.
3. Don't push your self too much - as long as you push your self to study, you'll be have a hard time to absorbed all of those things that you need to know...Just give your self time to study and time to relax...
4. As you read something after a while try to write all things that yu remembered - in this method you will test your ability to catched up and if you learned on what you've read...
5. A day before the exam relax...A day before the exam, don't study anymore...I mean try to relax your self so that tommorow a examination day you're so fresh...Sleep early and don't forget to eat before you go to exam!it is easy to think when your stomech is full...
Lastly...Don't forget to pray...Always remember that He will guide you through out the day... remeber this "prayers can move mountains"...
I hope i helped ou guys in some of my tips...This really works for me...Just pray for me also that i would pass my board exam this coming november...
we can do it!!!
happy mylotters!

I'm not sure if you're in high school or college. I graduated from college a few years ago, but I did much better in college than I did in high school because of my study habits. It seems like it's a lot of work, but it does pay off. And I managed to be on the track team, work, have a social life and still do well in school, so it's not that time consuming ;) But anyhow, go to class and take good notes is the most important part in my opinion. I'm a fast typer and my handwriting is awful. So normally I'd go through and type up all my notes from class and then print them out and make notecards out of those notes. Then I'd do the same with any readings that had to be done. I would just take notes right on the computer without bothering to write them out, it's just a lot faster for me. That's how I did my studying, but everyone has their own method that works. Hope I was at least a little bit helpful :)
