Does Noche Buena stand for good night in your language? and what language is that? I just wanted to know. In America, atleast I will speak for those in the southern states, we usually go to one side of the family's house one day and then the next to the other side of the family's. I used to go to my grandmother's on the Eve of Christmas and my dad's mother's on the day of Christmas. Also there would be times when I would go on Christmas Eve to both houses. We usually open presents and eat, and then go home. We haven't really celebrated Christmas that much in my own family, atleast not as a group. My fiance's family appears to have Christmas Eve with his father's side and then Christmas Day with his mother's.

I never thought about it but it is one of the four ber months, and we always celebrate Christmas Eve,usually on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day my moms side of the family either comes to my parents house,or we go to my uncles house, and either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day we will get together with my dads side of the family, even though his side of the family is really small, and both sides are having less and less people show up for Christmas.
