This was one of the articles i came across today. I would copy and paste it but i dont have enough posts yet. Apparently, a woman in wisconson, stole her daughers identity because she wanted to go back to high school and be a cheerleader! she even went to pool parties at the coaches house, went to practices and even had a locker! She is 33 and tried to pass herself off as being 15. I dont understand what is wrong with some people! i cant begin to imagine to pretend to be my daughter, just because i wanted to be a cheerleader. now she has been charged with felony identity theft. what do you think about this?

I can understand where the mother is coming from. Although what she's done is a felony, I do believe that the only thing "wrong" with her is that perhaps she lacked the discretion and common sense to basically realize that it's probably not a good idea to steal an identity to go back to school.
I know that if I could, I would go back to high school (at least if it meant all my old friends would be there too). I just won't steal say, my (future) son's identity or something to go about it.
People are different, and that also includes people who may lack what is "common sense" to most people. Believe it or not common sense isn't obvious, but something we learn over time. What I'm trying to say is that this person screwed up... perhaps because of just how her mind is, you know?
Still, a felony is a felony.
