Firefox give you a huge flexibility to customize your Firefox as you like by install a small add on to your Firefox
my favorite one is "greasemonkey" you can use it by installing specific scripts you can find here
http://userscript.com/
for specific pages like Facebook you can see profile pic in normal size even if you are not friend and other stuff that make it easier to use
or you can use it in Youtube to download just by one click
and there is some scripts for google and many other pages
i advice u to try it

I just recently installed it to somehow benefit from customizing certain sites or employ a general custom functionality like a custom toolbar button. Unfortunately learning to make one is so difficult I just don't know where to start. I don't know where scripts are located to have a look, do you know where this might be and can you recommend a site for newbies for these sort of things.
