Does anyone besides me find it disturbing that you can legally buy pain meds online or is it a good idea that people can have such easy access to medicines. I would love anybodys input on this one.

When it is possible to buy pain killers on the internet, addicts can easily get hold of the meds, but retricting the access does not prevent the addicts from getting the meds, at least not in my country. There is a rule saying that each shop is only allowed to sell a certain amount of pain meds to each customer, but this rule doesn't apply to phamacies, so if you what to buy a huge amount of pain killers you can just buy them in many different shops or in a phamacy. If you want stronger pain killers you can also get them quite easily (over the phone) I guess you can say that selling pain killers through the internet is not right because some people will abuse the system, but if you're really addicted to pain killers or if you want to use them to kill yourself, it is possible to get them, even if you can't buy them on the internet. If you really want to prevent abuse, you would not only have to restrict the access on the internet you would also have to change the rules in other areas (IRL)

I don't like to take pain medicine that is prescription. I take over the counter medicine. I too find it disturbing that you can buy them online. I don't know how it works.
