Who's being affected by Hurricane Ike or feeling its effects?

I live in Louisville, Ky. and today we have been feeling the effects of Ike. Sure we don't have hurricane's but we always get the after effects from them. Today has been a very scary day. Trees were blowing like crazy and even some has came out from its roots and fell over. Electricity has been going off and on rapidly throughout the day. I feel sorry for the people who was caught in Ike and any other hurrican because sure we had some very dangerous winds but that's nothing compared to what hurricanes bring. I couldn't imagine living somewhere that get hit by hurricanes. My heart and prayers go out to any and everyone who gets caught in dangerous weather.
