I had pimples when I was in my college days..it was a huge problem for me because I lose my confidence and self-esteem but later on it disappear. What I did? I just wash my face frequently as I can to get rid of the dust, use some facial wash and sleep early. How about you? Do you have your own formula on how to prevent pimples?

I remember I used to get few pimples when I was a teenager. But I used to wash my face with water almost 5 to 6 times a day and that helped me eliminate them totally. Moreover if one avoids eating oily food and eats a lots of salads etc, it helps. It helped me. Stress and irregular sleep patterns also leads to pimples. So healthy sleeping i.e early to bed and early to rise, eating healthy and washing face regularly helps in avoiding pimples. Some people take steam on their face and that helps too. The steam opens the pores and the dirt come out of the skin. Then one should wash their face with cold water. It helps in removing the dirt and also closing the pores.

Hi! I am now in my 40's but I would still get pimples when I was in my 30's. I was finally able to solve my problem by washing my face in the morning and at night with 'Cetaphil' facial wash. It it non-allergenic and works well with my oily face. Now, I am pimple-free. Cetaphil also has other formulations for dry skin or normal skin. I don't put anything else on my face. In my experience, medications just worsened the situation.

I used to have a lot of problems with that when I was in high school. I tried all kinds of things from medications, different face washes, and even putting egg yolk on my face (read it in an article but it didn't work). Sometimes it even seemed that the more I washed my face the worse it got! My face got a ton better though when I started using a really good moisturizer every day. I had never thought it would help since it seems like putting moisturizer would make it more greasy or something, but it really helped a lot and I didn't have nearly as many problems. I now use a really good oil-free moisturizer that also has 30 SPF against UVA/UVB rays, and I love it! It keeps my skin healthy and pretty!

Hi! I actually get a lot of pimples. I tried using papaya soap for a while but then I stopped because it had a bad effect on my face. It dried my face up. So now, I wash my face every morning and every night and I put moisturizer on my face after showering. There are occasional pimples that pop up but not as much as before.

Here's How You Can Join the Ranks of Pimple Free People
WASH using an oil-free cleanser and your bare hands (washcloths and sponges damage your skin), in the morning, after exercise and before bed no matter how tired you are.
LAUNDER your sheets frequently - don't lay that freshly washed face on a less than fresh pillowcase!
WATER is essential to clear skin. You've heard it before, but here we go again: Drink at least eight glasses of water a day.
EAT HEALTHY FOODS. They are just as important to skin health as they are to overall health. Fruits and vegetables provide vitamins and minerals; fish are full of essential oils; avoid junk foods. Research does not support the common myth that chocolates cause break-outs, but too much of any junk food is detrimental to your well-being, and is therefore bad for your skin.
SLEEP when you're tired. Sleep, and its counterpart, relaxation, are necessities, not luxuries. Physical exhaustion and stress are enemies of a clear complexion.
BABY your skin. Don't pick at pimples. Avoid touching your face unnecessarily - the oil on your fingertips belongs on your fingertips, not on your face. Moisturize and use sunscreen with at least a 15SPF every day all year long.
